The Genesys Life Foundation (GLF) has transformed the lives of five homeless children by awarding them full scholarships to study at Bright Morning Star Academy in Iyamu, Lagos, Nigeria. These scholarships cover tuition, school supplies, and other essential needs, ensuring that the children receive quality education and a brighter future. The beneficiaries, Chinedu (10), Aisha (9), Tolu (8), Emeka (9), and Fatima (10), previously faced difficult living conditions with little access to formal education. This opportunity marks a new beginning, giving them hope and the chance to reach their full potential.
The selection process focused on children who demonstrated a strong desire to learn despite their challenging circumstances. GLF volunteers worked closely with local shelters and communities to identify those most in need. With this scholarship, Chinedu, Aisha, Tolu, Emeka, and Fatima will now receive structured education, mentorship, and emotional support, equipping them with the skills needed for a brighter future.
